New zero day patch is out! Update your iPhone & iPads

Happy Friday Friends,

Apple released a new security patch this week addressing a remotely exploitable zero-day vulnerability to older iPhones and iPads. The vulnerability allows maliciously crafted webpages to perform gain access to sensitive information on unpatched iPhones and iPads. The Takeaway If you have any of the following devices, you may have been asked to run an update. Be sure to do it right away: iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPad Air, iPad mini 2, iPad mini 3, and iPod touch (6th generation) BTW, Apple also patched dozens of other security flaws in its Safari web browser and its latest macOS, iOS, and watchOS versions this week. Be sure to run those updates as well! Stay safe out there. -Attila
