This January’s Patch Tuesday release is nearly double the average, including 97 security vulnerabilities and 6 zero-day exploits
If your company machines are protected by our Total Security service, your employees have likely received notices indicating that a reboot is coming or that updates are being installed. This is because this week Microsoft released a huge security update containing 6 zero day vulnerabilities in Windows that allow bad actors to gain access to company computers without user interaction.
A technical write-up of these patches is available on Threatpost, but if you don’t already have our Total Security service, be sure to check for and install the latest updates for Microsoft Office, on-premise Exchange, on-premise Active Directory and Microsoft Edge. All of these products are critically vulnerable.
Stay safe out there
