Hi guys, are you tired of wearing these face masks? Don’t you wish you could make them all disappear?
Well some folks are trying to take advantage of our mask fatigue and are now selling or distributing face mask exemption cards. Not sure if you notice there but it has the Department of Justice’s logo on it and it’s been designed to look official.
The Department of Justice just issued a statement last week reiterating that cards and other documents bearing the Department of Justice seal and claiming that individuals are exempt from face mask requirements are fake. The American Disabilities Act does not provide a blanket exemption to people with disabilities from complying with legitimate safety requirements.
Unfortunately guys, yes we all have Covid fatigue but the virus is still out there so let’s keep wearing those masks just a little bit longer.
